Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy (ABA)
ABA therapy is an evidence-based approach used primarily to support children with autism or
other developmental disorders in improving social, communication, and learning skills. The
therapy breaks down complex behaviors into manageable steps and uses positive
reinforcement to encourage desired actions. ABA is highly personalized, often delivered in
one-on-one sessions, and can be applied in various settings, including schools and homes.
Speech and Language Therapy
Speech and language therapy helps children who have difficulty with speech production,
language comprehension, or communication in general. Therapists work on articulation, fluency,
and expressive and receptive language skills to help children communicate more effectively.
Early intervention through speech therapy can significantly improve a child’s ability to engage
socially and succeed academically.
Play Therapy
Typically ages 3-11 Play therapy uses the natural medium of play to help children express their emotions, process trauma, and improve their problem-solving abilities. Aimed at children aged 3-11, this
therapeutic approach allows kids to explore their feelings in a safe environment, where the therapist can guide them through difficult experiences. Play therapy is particularly effective for addressing behavioral issues, anxiety, and emotional regulation in younger children.
Psychotherapy
offers children and adolescents a safe space to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors with the guidance of a trained mental health professional. This therapy is designed to help children manage emotional difficulties, anxiety, depression, or trauma, and build resilience. Through talk therapy or other therapeutic modalities, the child gains coping skills and emotional awareness, fostering healthier mental well-being.
